Oksana is a beautiful little girl still waiting half the world away for her mama to come rescue her from the cold walls of an institution. The good news: she has a mama working very diligently to bring her home!! The bad news: she has already been transferred and needs out of there ASAP. Jody, Oksana's mama-to-be, is a hard-working, God loving single mother who needs us to rally around her and help bring this sweet girl home!
I see the same empty look in her eyes that I saw in Lina's each time we visited her at the orphanage. No child deserves to be cast away in these "living" arrangements, as they are simply existing and not receiving the love and affection they so desperately deserve.
Jody really needs us, and she has a couple different fundraisers going on to provide some incentive to pitch in and be a part of bringing this cherub home.
